M.A.B.E x The Hambledon

Something of a sleeper hit over the past few Summers, we felt it was high time to shine a big, bright spotlight on M.A.B.E This brand has found a place in the wardrobes of many Hambledoners, both staffers and customers alike, and this week they take centre stage in the Project Space with an exclusive pop-up shop.

The Collection

Summer 26 might just be their best yet. Expect the perenially adored little tops, the ticking lined blockprint jackets, the self colour embroidery on strappy vests and the charmingly nostalgic dobby fabric. New for this season we loved the cross stitch motifs, the selvedge frill collars and hits of bold colour.

What an inspiring project this has been to work on. Taking our cue from M.A.B.E.'s beautiful embroidery and Indian production, we have made garlands of flower pom poms and cut paper (referencing strings of marigolds from Indian street markets) and a central pendant, inspired by Polish pajaki. We've been busy.
