As the name very much does not suggest, Tapis Noir is in fact Danish. Founded by Mads Lehn Kruse, this collection of silk and cotton scarves celebrates his love of interiors, textiles and the Arts and Crafts movement. The scarves in our edit use digital prints of glorious antique French textiles, and play with scale and colour. These are beautiful, decorative and useful. Just as William Morris would have wanted.

We're all about the cotton/silk square. Perfect as a necker. Perfect tied to a bag. Rendered in rich chintzes, ditsy florals and pretty flowery stripes, in a palette from deep chocolate and rich red to softest rose and cheery green.
